Dr. Alex Lui
Dr. Alex Lui was the first panel physician in Oakville approved by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) providing immigration exams to permanent resident applicants, temporary resident applicants (visitors, students and workers) and refugees across Ontario, including Toronto, Milton, Mississauga, Georgetown, Burlington, Hamilton and St. Catherines.
Dr. Lui graduated from medical school at the Western University in London, Ontario in 1981 and started his family medicine practice in Oakville. He was an active physician staff at the Oakville Hospital, Halton Healthcare Services site and was a preceptor for medical students at University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, helping students to integrate clinical skills and participate in community medicine practice.
The system at the clinic is e-medical based. Exam and tests can be done in the same building.
The clinic provides initial Furtherance follow-up visit, if requested by IRCC, at no additional charge.
Ample free parking and accessible by public transit.
Spoken Languages: Cantonese, English (吕医生可以读写中文), with access to official translator for all other languages.

Refugee IME exam and tests are covered by Interim Federal Health program with valid Blue Cross insurance.
CUAET Modified Diagnostic Test - Modified Diagnostic Test exam fee. (Age 0-14 $50, Age 15+over $100). This exam is not covered by Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) insurance.
Additional Costs
Additional blood test may be required as a result of the examination.
Any cost for follow-up investigation or treatment needed to complete your IME is your responsibility.
If you wish to have a copy of your IME medical report, additional fee will apply and please make arrangement with our office staff at the time of your visit.
