About the Clinic
Our clinic offers Immigration Medical Exams as required by Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Our clinic is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick at 435 Regent Street, #103 in the City Centre Medical Clinic. Our building is at the front, across from Sobeys. We offer plenty of free parking and there are bus stops nearby.

- Exam in our office. – You will schedule your appointment on this site.
- X-ray and blood work at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. – We will schedule x-ray and blood work for the same day as your medical at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton.
- Refugee claiments, call our office to schedule an appointment.

- FAMILY DISCOUNT. Families of four or more requiring immigration medicals, there will be no fee for the youngest child office medical exam.
PRICES
$100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment. You can reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit. ONLY if you cancel or do not show up to your appointment, will your deposit be lost.
Your deposit will be credited to your exam fee on the day of your appointment.
Families of four or more requiring Immigration Medicals. The office exam for the youngest child will be at no charge. You will have paid $100.00 deposit when you schedule this appointment, we will adjust the fee at the time of the medical.

Once you have scheduled an appointment and paid the deposit, an email will be sent you with proof of appointment and deposit paid. Bring this to your appointment.
As a reminder, an email will be sent to you the day before your appointment .
What to bring to your exam:
* Valid government issued photo ID
(Valid Passport/Canadian Drivers License/IFH refugee protection claimant document).
*Any official papers you received from Immigration Canada
(work permit, visitor permit, study permit, IRCC, IFH refugee document, etc…)
* All prescribed medications in English
(with medication name and dosage instruction).
* Any specialist or surgical reports in English
* Your prescribed eyeglasses or contacts.
* An Interpreter – only if necessary
* Drink plenty of water for urine sample and blood testing
*** We take the photos, so no need to bring photos with you.
What to expect:
* Eat lightly on the day of your exam (do not fast).
* The appointments take approximately 1 hour:
– You will provide a urine sample in office
– Chest X-Ray and Blood Work at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital
(Chest X-Ray and Blook Work will be done after the exam in our office. We will arrange the Blood test and X-Ray appointments on the same day.)
* After your exam is completed, we will provide you an information sheet as proof of eMedical document with your photo and case number for submission to IRCC and tracking purposes.

I am pregnant, can I defer a chest X-RAY?
Yes. It is your responsibility to complete the X-RAY after birth and notify our office when it is done.
Please provide your visa office with a copy of the Pregnancy Deferral Document.If the client chooses to defer her chest x-ray (CXR) because of pregnancy, the following steps apply:
- eMedical informs IRCC electronically when a CXR is deferred. The health case is put on hold when an applicant is pregnant and chooses to defer her CXR.
- eMedical generates a CXR requisition and instructions, which are then provided to the applicant.
- eMedical generates a “Pregnancy Deferral Letter” with instructions for the applicant.
If the applicant is greater than 20 weeks gestation she may wish to discuss proceeding with the x-ray.
How long is the exam valid for?
It is valid for 12 months.
Do I have to schedule Blood Work and Chest X-Ray?
No, we will schedule your blood work and X-Ray for you at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital to be done on the same day.
How do I get a copy of the report?
A copy of the Medical Report will be emailed to you when your medical is submitted to IRCC.
